UNESCO Photo Contest on #Science4Sustainability launched on the 
World Environment Day

UNESCO New Delhi Office joined the World Environment Day Celebrations with TERRE Policy Centre - not in air-conditioned conference halls or in 5-star hotels, but with rural communities in remote Western Ghats in Vandre village in Mulshi Taluka some 100 kms from Pune.

This was a unique event not giving theoretical sermons on sustainability but launching UNESCO Science for Sustainability Photo Contest with Sustainable Development actions in remote hills of Western Ghats of India

New Report: Estimating the Number of Out Of School Children: Methodological Problems and Alternative Approaches
